Help Getting the Server Addon running on Windows Server 2008

I'm currently can't get the Server Addon working on a Windows Server 2008 R2 installation.

It's maybe a very stupid question, but where do I get this version from? I currently have installed the latest version via the hldsupdatetool.

At my local PC (Windows 7 Prof.) the server at least starts up fine with the same configuration (latest version vom hldsupdate tool and the 1.413/1.414 Addon version from here). Is there something special for the Server 2008 R2? As "Administrator" it also does not work. So it should be no permission problem. Or is there a general policy in windows that should be switched on/off?

Are you sure you have the latest version of MW3 Server on your Win2k8 Server? MD5 of the latest version (1.9.441) is 9595F9F9AC4DCE8E1F3FB626171220D6.

Thank you for this one.

I have figured out that it has something todo that I start the server from a network share. It's mounted with "net use X: //server/codfolder". It seems that there is a security policy that disallows the use of the dll. I have also tried the "linux binary" and renaming the d3d9.dll to load.dll but this didn't help either.

I have tested copying the files and starting it locally which works fine. I may need a windows server pro here to get the right policy setting to switch off because disabling DEP didn't do the trick.

I have "tricked" Windows by creating a symlink to the mapped network drive folder. Now the Addon loads fine. Well, next I need to fix wine.
