[News] Crysis 3 announced

Crysis 3 has been announced lately. You can see all details on this page. It already has few fan-arts, one trailer, text description. Also, important to mention that CryENGINE3 was used to make the game.

The action takes place in New-York, hidden under nano-shield, protecting the city from its surrounding. But nobody knows what is more dangerous: outside the city or the city itself. There are still many people alive, although most of Earth population died while alien invasion. New-York turned to wild nature: parks are jungle, streets are canyons, subway (underground/metro) stations are caves. And you are the HUNTER.

Idk what exactly will be in game, since there is nothing practical announced, just some descriptive text, saying that "OMG IT WILL BE SO COOL" (like that story with internet explorer site that said that new version will be amazing but gave no reasons). The game is finished already (or there is very little work to do) since EA announced the date of release and started pre-orders.

It is also mentioned on the web-site that we will have to take some alien weapons, or make them ourselves. It is said that we will have bigger weapon choice than ever. On the thumbnail THE-MAN-IN-NANOSUIT (it is not announced who will be the main hero) is aiming down some target wit his... um... MODERN CROSSBOW.

HUNTER EDITION:

• Jackal shotgun + some camouflage for it + suppressor

• Typhoon (500 rounds per second) + camo's
  
• Panther pistol + camo's
  
• You get crossbow & arrows & nanosuit HUNTER for multiplayer just when you start (not when you unlock it)

I will buy, I guess. I loved first one, hoped so much that Cry2 will be nice, but it failed. Now I hope that Cry3 will be nice...

Cry2 was the biggest console port i've ever seen....

Crysis 2 was the biggest disappointment i ever had with a game series. I hope they will do better with crysis 3 for the sake of saving the series.
