Pretty much, yes.
About the menus, you'll need the .menu files, look in raw > ui_mp to see samples of those files.
sounds good. I just want to restore ZombieX to it's WaW glory. The only thing missing is killstreaks for hunters

so, for future noobs after me:
-create mod folder and add in the name of your mod mp_modname
-open black ops mod tools beta
-click on explore
-open mods directory and then black ops resource directories
-copy files over that you need to modify
-type modded file names in your csv, which is initially empty (view mot tool beta examples like HnS to see a finished csv file)
-build!
-run black ops when it's done, load the mod, try it in a private match

I pmed you. I HAVE A QUESTION
Ok so I noticed the zombotron mod has like 200 files to link in the csv file.. is there a way to add them automatically link them? I can see in the HnS and Juggernot example have all of the modded files listed in the csv (with absolute locations), so I can see they need to be there but really.. do I need to add all of the file paths manually?

If you're talking about .GSC files, then no, you wouldn't need to do that, just click on the files in the mod tools :p
Like this:
(In this case, mp_nuked_fx.gsc, tdm.gsc, BFVehicles.gsc, _rank.gsc and _laststand.gsc will be compiled, the rest wont)
But keep in mind, that those .GSC files will be stored in the mod's .IWD file, so people who have some kind of compressing program (like winrar) will be able to open them, and read your files.
However, if you do it manually in the mod.csv, those filles will end up in the mod's fastfile (mod.ff).

I don't care lol. It's not my mod, remember? It was a public release of zombotron. I only added like 5 lines of code anyway. So I was wondering... which files do not need to be in the csv file and which files do? Because when i decompiled the ff, checked build IW and the other check box in mod tools to rebuild the mod without changes (to see if I could), it said 'everything appears to be ok' but then when I loaded the mod, it did not work.
Any guesses on this? do certain files need to be in there or am I doing something wrong? I decompiled the source and then rebuilt it and tried to run it normally. The only thing I can think of is something missing in the csv idk. help D:
