TBH looks like another RAGE to me. Same post-apocaliptic desert game. Devs were like "We are too lazy and unoriginal so let's just make a huge fucking desert and put some vital buildings in there; sand is our scenery! And besides, making map borders look legit is uber easy with desert rocks and shit!"
