Request Hide and Seek (Mod/Plugin)

We started talking about this, but all we need for a proper hide and seek gamemode is allready available to us

Based on gamemode: infected seems best but then in reverse, so the infected becomes the seeker! and if 'found' the hiding become seekers asswell

modifications:

-Hardcore mode (no markers,perks,etc)
-Rename teams: Hiders / Seekers
-Take away all weapons and melee ability
-give seekers just throwing knifes
-hiders spawn in 3rd person view mode so they see what they look like
seekers
-Hiders get a random model as body (example dumpster/toilet/crate) that is widely available on that map (requires alot of research but worth it, a good start is found at: http://www.itsmods.com/forum/Thread-Rele...3-map.html)

when a seeker thinks to have found a hider 'did that trashcan just jump?'
he chucks a throwingknife at it (dont know it works when i tested it only explosions could kill me) to kill the hider so it also becomes a seeker

this is just an example of a player in 3rd person hidden as an airdrop-crate

As i dont have time to code everything i can imagine, someone else could just take this one?

i think ive played a simular mode to this on the halflife engine once Smile

Someone just needs to make the core and others can make the models etc for each map.

What stops this from developing:

- No button presses. You would to have to do something like !randommodel? Don't like this.
- Buggy head, as always with setting another model to a player
- Team assignement, changing team does not really work.

1. well people like to choose their own model but it would be hard to do, this is better than nothing in my eyes.
2. agree, but we must find a solution
3. well that is already in the infected gamemode, last standing hider = winner.

so all we need is:

SetPlayerHead= to work again
a null model for the head

as for the menu system we can do something simular as in xZombie

Search and Destroy would be a solution(if u can make a cod when they plant they die)cuz we can add some time from .dsr file.As for the headmodel idk.Huh
