I played these gametypes on a different FPS game(Combat Arms) a while back. They were quite fun and I was wondering if any coders/moders will be able to recreate them for MW3. Preferably for servers hosted from your own computer.
Last Man Standing is a free-for-all death match in which each player is given only one spawn per round. It is basically FFA and TDMPro put together. The main objective of the game is to survive and take out every other player. It is also been called by some of the community "Last Man Camping" due to the large amount of camping that occurs in this mode.
This mode is difficult to do well in because once a player spawns he does not get a 3 second spawn shield, meaning that players that spawn in a high traffic area are almost certain to die in the first few seconds of fighting. Since it is possible for more than one player to spawn in one area, fighting begins almost the moment the game starts.
Once a player dies he is not allowed to talk to any other player with text or voice chat. This is believed to prevent people from giving away other players positions.
Number of players: 2-18
Number of rounds: 9
TDMPro is basically SND without the bomb, and, as the name implies, is aimed at more experienced players. It is played very often. Like TDM, the game mode's prime objective is to take down all enemy personnel until you and your team have reached the limit of points. Unlike TDM, you do not have any respawns at all, and the match is separated into rounds. The team must think tactically to survive, similar to the SND mode. Once one team has no more players left alive, the round ends, and it leads to another one, giving a point to the team with at least one soldier still alive. The team that reaches the score limit wins. Please note: this game mode is a timed mode, meaning the round could end before either team is completely wiped out, and it will result with the team with the most players left standing winning and if the teams are equal then it results in a draw; this may be uncommon due to the fact that players wander around in search of the final surviving enemies
Number of players(must have to start): 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7, 8v8 and 9v9. Pretty much same amount of players on each team.
Number of rounds: 11
Thanks in advance. If coders/moders need more information, just PM me. And we can chat/email/steam in real time etc.
