There's a difference between Machinima Director and Machinima Partner. The first you upload your videos to their channel, the other you gain twice the revenue as other partnership providers like TGN.
Partnership won't reduce your views in any way, only increase them + give you moneys.

As for the contract - if you even sign one, I don't know what theirs say, but as for other partnership providers, all that happens if you stop making videos is that they'll cut the partnership. I don't believe the "your channel r belong 2 us for 1 year" part.
