(simple Q) official .gsc gets changed?

Hey,

Simple question;
When editing the .gsc files, do I need to make a backup or does the ItsModLoader copies them automatically into a directory?

While were here;
In what editor do you edit the .gsc files? Can I use Visual C# as my editor?

1) do a backup or use a blank _missions.gsc or _rank.gsc
2) mod directory must be *:\****\mod\maps\mp\gametypes
3) use any editor you like, even simple notepad

When I excecute ItsModloader.exe, it tells me to start Black Ops. I start Black Ops (Multiplayer).. what is it supposed to do?
Does it create some files in "\***\mods\*\*"? Nothing for me though

ow lol nvm. U first edit the files, then you paste them in "*\mods\mp\gametype\" and then u start ItsModsloader.exe and host your match, I guess. Sorry, time to edit
