For those who loved Half life 1 this is more than a mod is a complete remake of half-life 1. Nothing to do with half-life: source which was a fail this "game" pushes the source engine to its limit. Everything is being created from scratch. The mod started being planned in 2004 just after source engine came oout and is still in development. This week black mesa source facebook published a note saying that when 20k likes were achivied they would release new media. In 2 days the likes went from 7,5k to 25k.

I've been waiting for this mod since 2010 when i found it and since it is back to full speed i felt like sharing.

I gave up hope on this when in 2009 there still was nothing even though I saw the same trailer that keeps popping up over and over again back in 2008 or something.

Oh guess what, it's that same trailer (I posted before I watched it, then clicked play and saw that it is that one trailer from 2008; I wonder why it only has so few views because there is nothing wrong with the trailer (IMO it's quite good) and it was a bit of a hype in the holidays of 2008)

I think they had loads of trouble with the team but in a recent interview the teamleader said they where back at full speed

ource is that source uses havok engine physics and has some better water and light effects. The rest remains unchanged. Not worth the money :/

Im waiting for half-life 2 episode 3 since episode 2 xD. But it looks like this could only come out after Portal 2 cause theorys say gordon will find glados on borealis. In the end i don't really care i'll wait what the time it takes. <3 hl

Extra money? HL: Source is free to anyone owning HL2 and HL1 afaik. And that's why I'm like "Why complain? It's free and a small upgrade".
