Black ops 2 Ambient Sound removal

  I don't know if I'm in the right place and/or posting in the rite Forum, I was reading a forum in a different website and it came to my attention that there is actually a way to remove all the ambient sounds in Black ops, it this true?Can some one here guide me to do this, I don't wanna get a VAC ban so I wont do anything that will modified my Dlls.
