I thought he wansnt nice to people.....
Communism in Russia started before Stalin, didn't it? And yeah, Stalin wasn't very nice I read somewhere, that he suffered of a brain disease, something in his brain made him angry and aggressive.
NO TRU DAT
He was absolutely normal human and I see his actions were not nice from point of view of common human. But he had to do this to avoid more loses https://www.google.se/#sclient=psy-ab&hl...40&bih=626
About the actions, it depends from what point of view you're looking at, if you're planning to win, no matter what... Then heartless sacrifies has to be made.
He was in the power like 20 years, war was like 6 years..... In the other 14 years, what do you say about his actions?

In other years he did no "heartless sacrifies". Powerful head of country shall not have any human feelings, he is not ruling like 5 people, but whole country.

Wasn't Stalin's regime totalitarian, and he made many "heartless" decisions even after the war?

Seriously this made my day. @g-man Do you even know what you are talking about and what Stalin did?
@ Rendflex Stalin died from a apoplectic stroke. I think communism started with Lenin.
@g-man never talk about something you don't know anything about. Let me tell you some facts:
- Stalin ordered the nationalization of agriculture. In the Ukraine 5 million people died because they had nothing to eat.
- Between 1937 and 1939 1.5 million people had been killed in the Soviet Union.
- Until 1953 Stalin deported up to 40 million people into the GULag, about 15 millions of them died.
- His son was caught by the germans. The germans wanted to exchange his son with a german general. Stalin denied.
I can list more but I think it's enough.

And without talking about his ego and his thoughts about being the USSR Hero. ( SuperStalin )

Next time read more carefully, please. I never denied of what Stalin did and that he was a heartless person. But I stated that under him USSR became much more powerful country, and you cannot deny it, it's a fact.

I cant deny that Germany became very successful under Hitler. It is a fact either lol
And Hitler was a great ruler. If we just look at him as at president he was successful. He was an excellent speaker. Although his actions were horrible you cant deny that, it is one more fact, mkay?
