Well that's what i don't allow server admins to restrict FOV as it`s a player choice.

Why would you want to restrict players FOV? Thats just mean.

I just want to know how to change the client DVARs (e.g. FoV or MaxFPS). I played on several servers where this plugin (Promod Live) was used and on some maxfps was automatically set to 0 (no limit) although I didn't type it in the chat. So how do I do this?!
Another important question: How can I undo the changes in the DVARs made by this plugin/mod (e.g. the removed fog)?

Well 1st maxfps can't set to 0 in Promod Live its by default set to 100 so thr is no way to make it 0.
2nd by restarting your game as Promod settings are forced by default.

But I played on a server with Promod live and unlimited FPS!
Anyway, that's not the point: MaxFPS was just an example. I only need to know where and how to put the client DVARs (in which file and in which way) to enable/activate/make these DVARs (equally) for all players! To avoid the players from changing their DVARs while playing on my server, I simply use the Permission plugin to forbid every command for every player.
By doing all these things I will have maximum control over my server to secure a fair and balanced gameplay for every player.

You probably played on a server with 'Promod'. It has more customization, and is more common. This is 'Promod Live'. It is more of a cod4 style promod, with forced settings.

I know that the client DVARs can be controlled/changed (I think in sv_config.ini). Could you shortly tell how to do this exactly?
Sorry, I now know how to do it.
Anyway, can you tell me what DVARs your plugin changes in what way? Because I really like your plugin, I just want to edit some DVARs. So I would use Promod with mostly the DVARs of Promod Live but also with some custom DVARs of mine.

Yeah, I said that I want to do that. You said Promod Live is Promod just with some settings/DVARs forced by default (for example FoV 80). And I would like to know what those settings/DVARs are. Then I use Promod with these settings plus I can unlock the FPS with com_maxfps. Then I have Promod Live with FPS Unlock, that's my aim.
