If anyone of you have been paying attention to Canadian e-politics, you will have Heard of UBB implemented by someone worthy of the title of the anti-christ ( Bobby Kotick isnt really worth the title right now [CEO of Activision]) by the CRTC...
It pretty much forces independent ISP's to implement a base bandwidth cap of 25GB/month.
Im really temped to take a nice big shit in their lobby right now...


And it only costs them something like a penny (1 cent) per GB....

Just 1 word: WOW. I mean, wtf bandwith limit?? We already have 5+ years no bandlimit here. We can download how much we want + what we want. Downloading here is legal. (says the law). Uploading is illegal however. But yea nobody does that

Well down here in Ontario and i think Quebec, not sure where else...But anyways we have a provider named TekSavvy and they had to bring the bandwidth down too. They have a 5meg, 200GB limit for like $32 a month. But alas the government turned down Bell and so now TekSavvy is increasing their limit to 300g just for a slap in the face to bell

Edit, and they are adding a cable package thats $38 a month i think, 10 meg and 300GB limit.....yeah they are badass
