Hey guys,
My GSP has agreed to run this addon for our servers but I have no idea what to tell them.
Can you confirm that the GSP needs to have installed on the box:
.NET 3
Visual Studio 2010 & 2008 Redists
Then what type of access would I need in order to use the addons functions? I currently have FTP access.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for replying m8.
I want to run the promod plugin.
I have FTP access so there would be no problem getting to the plugin folder.
As for the program itself, do I need to run anything else within the GSP or will restarting my servers with the Admin Panel be enough?

Restarting should be enough if you've placed the files from package in your server root

Thanks for your replies, you are being most helpful.
I didnt quiet understand the installation instructions.
Does the GSP simply install .NET and redists & then drop the server addon into the main folder and thats it or do they need to replace the .exe file with another ?
Sorry for the noobish questions but they are being very good accomodating this for us so I dont want to mess them about.

if you see it from the aspect that its not legal, then yes (modified game files)
but seriously, i doubt that IW even care about such a thing. just run the server and enjoy it.
and dont worry, you are on the safe side anyway

Ok, thanks for the info.
Do i need to take iw5mp_server.exe out of the 'LINUX FIX' folder and overwrite the current .exe ?
Is that all that needs to be done ?
