Help 1.5.387 Patch and i can't start the game

Well after updating to the new patch im getting this error:

Couldn't load image 'scrollbar_arrow_up'

So after verifying i constantly keep losing files and re-downloading them again

I verified game cache and it said that 29 files are missing so i got a 2.2 gb update
2nd time verifying got a 300mb update
3rd time verifying 304mb update and still can't run the game
4th time 309mb....

Delete all files (close Steam and really delete it and empty the recycle bin).

Redownload that game.

Or better: find an actual nice game and play that instead.

Nope, he probably uses custom files like a custom dedicated server or some textures. Steam is not made for this and will therefore have no idea how to update.

EDIT: im stupid as fuck , the fov changer caused it...
it works great without it lollolol

dont ever put any self made / custom files into your steam folder!!!!!!!!!
