YouTube prompted me this today, with the optional choices being to keep my YouTube channel name or choose a better name. Question is, what is the difference? Does my channel layout and url stay as it is? Any positive sides to it?

Okay YouTube just "upgraded" my channel to the new layout without asking after me having pressed 'no' on their request a billion times.
Fuck sake.

I'm pretty sure all channels have changed to the new layout now.

Unfortunately all channels have this shitty layout now. And about the Google+ thing I'm not sure if this is what I have seen myself, but if it is that option allows you to use your IRL name instead of YT name, pure awesomeness!
