Well I already wrote this question in the other thread but I thought I should just make it in its own.
How much does the modding language change between call of duty games?
Well, how much of a change was it from MW2 > Black Ops?
The reason i ask this is because i cant seem to wrap my head around the idea of every year needing to start it all again and its bothering me (not the fact that id need to start again just the question of how different is it, if you can convert/port them over with ease or if it requires a full recode and everything)
Thanks, sorry for my weirdness things like this can just get to me for no reason sometimes ^.^
Yeah, I need a good modern game to mod, I'm done with counter strike and no other game provides the tools I guess.

Both games have dedicated servers(mw2 is a bit different on that), BO has mod support, legit mw2 not. BO has modtools and mw2 no. MW2 MP was far better than BO. BO SP is far better than MW2 SP.

I didn't mind BO MP for some odd reason, though i had both on xbox so I never really got into the modding scene of either untill now.
The language being almost the same is good, like i said I don't like the idea of working on something then when the new game comes out you need to remake the mod instead of constantly updating the same one with new features and stuff but if you can port it over all is well then, this forum and call of duty games is offically my new modding game/forum !
Thanks for the help time to get learning ^^

BO SP is lame when you play it through tbh. Tried playing it again the other day but I stopped soon after the prison escape mission because it's simply too ridiculous and stereotyped.

Yes, BO ruined a bit the game when they removed OMA, Martyridom and danger close.
