How to set up your own modded server with server addon for supernoobs

Hi,

I've successfully got the server (+ server add-on) running on a Linux VPS, but with one small issue:

I never get the message "Steam Master Servers Found (2)" or whatever. The ports are definitely DEFINITELY open.
I've tried using Steam.dll provided by steamcmd.exe AND the one copied from my steam folder, neither make a difference.

I've left it running for hours with no luck, and it doesn't appear on the server list. Any ideas?

Yes, since server side doesn't have something to steam and your account.

No you cant get banned, Unless you run the server from YOUR steam folder.

1. First of all you're going to browse to your MW3 files
   These files can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3
   (or program files instead of program files (x86) if you're running 32 bit)
   
   I don't care if you downloaded yours from steam, you're going to copy those files. DO IT.
   
2. If you did the last step, you should see something like this now:
   
   Now press CTRL+A and after that CTRL+C

3. Now you're going to browse to your C:\ drive or whatever your drive is which has most space available, press the right button on your mouse-device and you're going to click 'new' and then 'folder'/'directory'
   Now type 'mw3server' and hit enter.

4. Double click the folder you just created and press CTRL+V

7. Okay! Surprised you made it this far!
   You're going to download this now (yes, you can click it)
   After you've downloaded the file, you're going to open it with a unzip-program such as WinRAR.
   Now, extract all files to your server by pressing this small little button on WinRAR
   
   In the next screen[1] type 'C:\mw3server' and hit enter.

   A: Relax your butthole and make sure you did the last steps correctly and you also are extracting those files to the directory you copied your MW3 files into
