You probably do not understand who is a moderator? First, people here are not "competing" really. Secondly, the listed people (and unlisted ones) are here not for coloured username. Being a moderator is not showing off but keeping site runnig well, checking if everything is alright, controlling spam levels, helping newbies. And just generally keeping an eye of what is going on.

Nobody really asked for being a moderator apart from me. And I did it not to compete or anything but just because I care about ItsMods and want to improve it (or it least keep it as it is and not let it go even worse)
