@ AZUMIKKEL your project and results so far are great and I enjoy looking at your updates, you should be a land-use designer of some sort But why is ice see-through? You can't normally see through ice. And what about river in that forest? It is so transparent that I didn't even notice it at first and rivers are kinda far from being transparent, they usually have mud on their beds. Can you possibly edit this?
Also, I'm just curious - what apps are you using while building the map?

I haven't watched much Game of Thrones, so I don't know how that would look. As for temples, I was indeed planning to make hidden structures with rewards for players to find, but they must wait till the terrain phase is done, or the chunks they're built on will eventually be overwritten as I work along in Worldpainter.

Ice is normally transparent, just usually not as much as it appears on my screenshots, seeing as ice is normally placed above some dark water, meaning there's really nothing to see beneath the ice.
As for the river, I used shaders to take that screenshot, normally it would look like this:

Made a little cliff thing creasing up to the center area, which I'll nickname 'the battleground' from now, as I keep wanting to type spawn instead of center, which would be untrue, so battleground it is.
Nothing impressive, but it's a little detail I like.

I'll note that for when the terrain generation phase is done. The only problem with structures like these is that it takes a lot of time to build and the first player to come across them is probably going to bomb it.
Too many big flashy buildings, and the player will feel small and powerless, seeing as it's a survival map and building big pretty houses in survival, especially on pvp servers, is hard.

Can't you make the lighthouse a part of scenery and make it non-destroyable? By privating whole island with it?

Some of the main concepts I'm going for on the server are that players should be free to build and break what they want, where they want, without pointless protections limiting them. There is no worse feeling in the world than finding something that looks wealthy, and not being able to raid it for the message "This area is protected". I'm not planning to install a plugin that allows for protections.
