Hyves was basicly the biggest social network of all times in the Netherlands. But now Facebook is bigger and like @SuperNovaAO already said: hyves lost a lot of members in the last 6 months. Probably it will die within the next year/2year.

It's basically a typical Dutch thing: See something good and copy it very bad.
eBay -> Marktplaats
MySpace -> Hyves (Facebook didn't exist there and they copied MySpace)
Amazon -> Bol.com

I really don't understand why dutch faggots fall for these bad copypastas and use them even though even in the case of MySpace, MySpace is better (than Hyves).

The fun fact: all of these dutch copies (except for Hyves) are being used more than the original english version. I mean: I don't know anyone who uses ebay to sell their stuff.
