Punkbuster always runs, so this means that it's even running when you're not playing the game...
I really don't understand what's the use of that, are they trying to monitor us or something...?
They can just launch punkbuster whenever you're starting a game, also it's taking up about 30 MB ram while in idle; That's just as much as my webserver and anti-virus together....
I really don't think this is necessary and it creeps me out a little bit

Why do these new services continue to run after I stop playing the game?
In order to fully support running a PunkBuster enabled game as a limited (non-Administrator) user, the services must be running all the time after they are installed.
That's not really much of an answer....
