This woks really well on combat training...!!!
But how do I get rid of it (the texture hack), so the colours are back to normal?

well its always clever to back up files that you replace with modified ones.
but okay, just delete the one you edited/replaced and verify game cache (right click on black ops in steam -> properties -> verify bla blubb)

Erm, how do I get this to work? I tried the whole renaming files thing, and just using iwd_27 and iwd_27 works just not in game.

if it doesnt work in multiplayer then its probably patched and you need to find the new way to get those tex working
