So, the dvar value "sv_ranked x" is read-only...
Is there any way one could go around this to change the variable's number, hence making ranked servers (without vac too) possible, or am I just being a dreamer?

For VAC, sv_vac 0, and try stuff like MW2 xblive_something 1 and etc.

Or...You could make it private match and turn VAC off Wink

That part is already figured out thanks entirely to treyarch.

The question remains, how do we change the read-only ranked server dvar? Smile

I dont think its possible well only supernovaAO knows away around this... i guess you will have to wait :p + 4FunPlayin "xblive_" commands are hidden and are not accessable :p

Find a way around CEG/VAC and simply find the offsets for read only/cheat protected then edit the code in realtime to ignore the checks.

changing sv_ranked to 2 will not make your server ranked. I tried it.
