Well, Installing anti-virus might be a good way to start.
I can't imagine myself working from a VM all the time. (especially playing games with it)
However, Sandboxie (or something else) might be good if you don't trust the program you're about to run.

1. Use a strong password, and different passwords for each account. If you can't remember all of those passwords, Use a password manager
2. Don't blame us - the people you are asking for help - for stealing it. I've never added anything malicious to my tools and neither do any other coders.
3. Don't give your passwords away, not even to your 'friends'

I downloaded CS injector and barata's sp hook. my friend only downloaded the CS hook and his steam got hacked 2. but his anti malware didnt find anything.

I have the source to barata's sp hook, that is clean, the injector was probably backdoored. Next time use Wininject from a TRUSTED site. Plus why did you use a CS injector for MW3?....

If you have the source and there was a virus, how do you know he just didn't take the code out of it?

It was inside the injector.

And no I didnt download any other things resently . last download for a tool was 2 months ago.
