I think you could start-out by going to the tutorial section and reading some beginner tutorials, the main thing you will need is the mod-injector, aka itsmodsloader at Modreleases.

you cant import the single player weapons into the multiplayer.
just look into the mod release section and browse thru some mods to learn how it works.
