Well since there is no tutorial on here about making your own loading screen for MW2 might as well make one.. this is for making Custom Maps haven't tried on replacing the original .iwi loading screen's for the original maps.
This tutorial is using Photoshop..
1) Install the Photoshop .dds plugin
2) Open Photoshop
3) Input your picture into PS.
4) Save As
5) Open the Drop Down window selection:
6) Press Save
7) A pop-up menu should appear change all settings to this setup:
8) Now press Save and the .dds should be created on your Desktop.
9) Download dds2iwi.exe from the Attachment below
10) Drag the .dds file over dds2iwi.exe and Open with it.
11) Wait for a brief moment
12) The converted .iwi will be saved where ever you "launched" the dds2iwi.exe from.
To test if it's correct
13) Download IWI_X_DDS
14) Drag and drop the converted .iwi into the White area.
15) Double click on the File Name of the .iwi and a preview picture will pop up.
16) If done correctly your picture will now be showing..
17) Go nuts.
