i tried to use and edit the awesome classes mod by ddaavvee. the awesomeclasses mod is essentially what i want but i changed his custom classes names and weapons to my liking and made sure my syntax and references were correct.
i also the first wepaon set given to spas_silencer_mp etc. and that worked.
but the old class names show up like "thunder russian" and "elite class" when i change this classes in the class menu. what am i doing wrong? also when i select a class from the menu it just closes the menu and nothing happens.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

i don't can't really come up with a solution,
take a look at this tutorial for how to make them, maybe you find your mistake there:

i think so, if you changed names then its proberly best to after you did that, to link to .FF file using mod tools, if you know what i mean.

i think so, if you changed names then its proberly best to after you did that, to link to .FF file using mod tools, if you know what i mean. i have no idea how to edit your fast file. can i just create a new menu and load it without have to edit the ff file?

no you must link it to .FF file, but its very easy, there is a button for that in the mod tools? you have the mod tools?

i do have mod tools but never used it. i noticed in the mod.csv file there's a line that has "menufile,ui_mp/scriptmenus/Class_Menu.menu " can i just change that? or no..
