While books - most of the time - also give a lot of background information.
But, It depends on what book you're using of course, but video's are a lot more 'point-and-click'

search in YouTube "C++ absolute n00b spoonfeed" it has amazing explanation of every detail. Better than any book imo

imo youtube is not for learning for things like this because you dont learn maths from youtube, you learn from school reading books, same with c++

Nah I don't want to change your opinions but you won't change mine too. And yes, I have read C# books, no C++, but I guess they aren't different a lot...
