[Release] MW3 Dedicated server addon

Am I doing something wrong? The plugin and server works correctly, but when I try to go to server it says 'Files different from the server.'

Copy your whole game (including all files) to a different location, put addon in there and launch server exe.

Does this support W2k8 64bit?

I have been trying to get this to run for 3 evenings now.

Things i have done:

-Installaiton of Redist. 2008 and SP1 of it
-Installation of .NET 3.5 and 4
-Verification tool by Microsoft tells me both .NET installs are ok

At first i got the missing msvcr100.dll. This i was able to fix by copying the msvcr100.dll either to the deidi dir or the C:\Windows\SysWOW64. This causes me to get an applicaiton error with the nummber 0xc000007b.

Bat synthax:

iw5mp_server.exe +set dedicated 2 +set sv_config "server.cfg" +set net_ip xxx +set net_querryPort 27014 +set net_port 27015 +set net_authPort 8766 +set net_masterServerPort 27016 +set sv_maprotation "default.dspl" +start_map_rotate

Yes xxx is my ip address in this case.

You need the 2010 redist right now, not 2008 and delete the old msvcr100.dll

I'm not sure this is too much related to the current revision of the addon, but I'll ask anyway...
I just rewrote some plugin for the older C++ version, as I'm having more luck getting it to run on my server. Would you consider releasing an updated native C++ versions of the addon? I do realize it's a heck of a lot of work to port the most trivial features back to C++, just thought I'd ask anyway...

Problem solved! FK this

I checked the d3d9.dll and found that i was missing about 10 dlls that it needs.

Solution is to install Visual Studio 2010 Express

Not the most pretty solution IMO but im up and running now

If you still get the missing msvcr100.dll
Reinstall it and do not copy the 'msvcr100.dll' into the SysWOW64 folder
only copy it into the dedicated server directory.

If that does not work and it still says the DLL is missing try restarting the server.
Even if after that it does not work, there is a problem with the Redist installation.

I do in fact hate using C#/Managed code, but I have no choice as it is too complicated for others using the older C++ way. If you're having problems why not post them? (In a new thread though, not here if it has to do with the plugin itself)

It's too much code to keep track of and add otherwise.

EDIT: For plugin creators, be aware that the .NET 3 update may come in a few days

"SpecsFix=0" means the cpu/bandwidth check is off?

or is it

"SpecsFix=1" so you enable specsfix, therefore it disables the check?
