No longer works. At least, not on Windows 8.

So I am trying to take the Richtofen sound files from the origins map and use them in Skyrim using this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51387/?. I have converted the flac files to wav and put them in the correct folder and properly renamed the files for the game, but I don't get any sound in-game.

The converted files all have higher bit rates (705+ kbps) than what I set with the conversion settings. I have used several different audio players to test the sounds and they all play fine until I try and use them in the game. I feel like there is a step I must be missing.

Any help would be appreciated.
